We wanted to thank you for the beautiful job you did on our new fireplace. It was a pleasure working with someone who was so professional in dealing with us. We were so pleased with how you involved us in the whole process. Your patience with our many questions made us feel that you really listened to our concerns and what we really wanted. The job was done in a timely manner and you came in at the estimate you quoted us. It was a pleasure working with someone who values ethics and honesty in their business dealings. Thanks again Mike, we love to spend time in front of the fire!

Most impressive was that after the project was done and we lived in our beautiful remodeled home you were still available and responsive to our “little issues” and quickly made sure all the details were done to our satisfaction. You called us to see if all was okay….before we called you!
You should know that many of our friends and neighbors have raved about our new home.
We will certainly call on you again and will let others know of our FANTASTIC experience.

Born and raised in Florida, Mike spent the first 20 years of his working life with Publix Super Markets as a store manager. After retiring from Publix and pursuing other adventures he wound up working for a construction company in Miami. That same week Hurricane Andrew struck the Miami area and his life was changed forever. The destruction from the hurricane was complete and it gave Mike the opportunity to begin to learn every angle of the construction business. After spending two years in Miami helping to clean up the mess, he and his wife Robin decided to move to the Western North Carolina area to be closer to family. Shortly after arriving in North Carolina in 1998 Mike earned his North Carolina General Contractor License. Since then, he has used his license to build custom and spec homes in the Hendersonville area. He has also earned a North Carolina Home Inspector License in 2004 and has been an active Home Inspector ever since. In his latest endeavor with his friend and partner, Rex Stephens, they have found a nitch in the home renovation industry and have been doing work with local home owners to bring new life to existing homes.
Coming to us from Texas, Rex has over 25 years experience in construction related fields. After successfully operating his own Pool construction business in the Houston area, he moved his family to Western North Carolina to be closer to family. Here, he and his friend Mike Dampier became partners in the renovation and construction business. He has extensive experience in carpentry, electrical, hydraulics, plumbing and HVAC in both new construction and renovations. Rex holds a degree in Industrial and Commercial Carpentry, he is an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Rex lives in the Hendersonville area with his wife, Wendy and their son, Colt.
